GY20001 “Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Small Business Start-Up”

Introducing... The formula for CHANGE!

D x V x F > R

There is the potential for awesome change when...
D = Dissatisfaction with how things are now;
V = Vision of what is possible;
F = First, concrete steps that can be taken towards the vision;

the product of these three factors is greater than
R = Resistance!

If you have the determination to improve you prospects (D) and a vision of where you want to be (V). Take your first concrete steps to getting there (F) with our new accredited module!

Who’s it for?

If the NON Accredited activities of The Enterprise Gym outlined above look too “light weight” for you or you already hold a NON ACCREDITED award from TEG and want to get to grips with entrepreneurship in a more rigorous fashion then “Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Small Business Start-Up” is the module for you. The module is fully accredited by the University of Dundee and will appear on your transcript of studies. Not only will it give you deeper insight into being an entrepreneur and how to start your own small business it could also impress prospective employers and enhance your employability.

Delivery Format

The Enterprise Gym’s Business Patrons who are Honorary Lecturers and Associates of the University deliver over 60% of the module. Most sessions take the shape of a traditional weekly 1 hour lecture followed on alternate weeks by a 2 hour workshop split between individual and group activities. Over 50% of the 2 hour workshops are given over to the Group Project.

Who should apply?
