Ken Edward
Director

Ken is in overall charge of The Enterprise Gym and its brands. He liaises with local organisations regarding funding and new projects and delivers the accredited module. He also liaises with local businesses to organise their input to The EGym. Ken has a business as well as academic background and is able to help students develop their business ideas. Neil Bowie
Assistant Director

Neil helps Ken to run The Enterprise Gym and its brands. He mentors the Student Management Team who run the day to day operations of The EGym and looks after all the non-accredited activities. Neil has worked at other academic institutions but has a predominantly business background. Read more here.

Alexandra Macleod
President

Studies: Psychology, Year 3

Previously the Senior Vice President for the 2010 / 2011 academic year, responsible for hosting the Discovery Challenge workshops; Ally has taken over from Marten as the President of the Enterprise Gym 2011 / 2012. Always up for a challenge and definitely up for a laugh, we’re sure the Enterprise Gym is in for another year of record growth with Ally at the helm!

Egle Pociute 
Senior Vice-President

Studies: Business Economics with Marketing, Year 3

Passionate about business and enterprise, multi-award winning Egle is a new addition to the Enterprise Gym Management Team. She takes up the role of Senior Vice President following Alexandra Macleod’s change from SVP (2010 / 2011) to President of the Enterprise Gym.

Michael Crabb 
Vice President, Communications

Studies: Computing, PhD

A new addition to our team, Dundee-born Michael takes over from Andrew (now Vice President, Communications) for the 2011 / 2012 academic year. Something of a high-flyer, Michael is the Chief Engineer at Winters Computing having graduated with a BSc in Applied Computing (Hons) in 2010.

Catharina Wiecha
Ambassador to the College of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing

Studies: Dentistry, Year 5

This is Catha’s second year working at the Enterprise Gym. Following her success in the role during the 2010 / 2011 academic year, we’re delighted that Catha has chosen to continue working with us through the 2011 / 2012 academic year!

Sam McGlashan 
Ambassador to the College of Arts and Social Sciences

Studies: Psychology, Year 3

Following a successful year participating in the Discovery Challenge, Sam has joined the Enterprise Gym Management Team 2011 / 2012 as the Ambassador to the College of Arts and Social Sciences. Bundles of fun and incredibly engaging to chat to, Arts and Social Sciences have an excellent ambassador in Sam and we’re sure he’s going to make quite an impact!

 Thomas Walker
 Ambassador to the College of Life Sciences

Studies: Biochemistry, Year 3

Thomas, a previous participant in the Discovery Challenge, joins the Management Team as Ambassador to the College of Life Sciences. Thomas’ interest in business and enterprise extends beyond his learning here at the Enterprise Gym however, he has experience buying and selling models and books on eBay, and when not studying or working paints models with a view to selling them for profit.
 

Aleksandra Zefirova 
Ambassador to the College of Art, Science & Engineering

Studies: Civil Engineering Design and Management, Year 5

Taking up the new post of Ambassador to the School of Engineering, Latvian-born Aleksandra is a new recruit to the Enterprise Gym Management Team. With a strong academic record and significant experience in a number of industry sectors, Aleksandra is a significant addition to the team.

Anda Bularga 
Ambassador to the School of Medicine

Studies: Medicine, Year 3

A new addition to the Enterprise Gym Management Team, Anda takes up the newly-created post of Ambassador to the School of Medicine. Anda has consistently been a high-flyer when it comes to academic achievement, having first come to the UK on a scholarship programme. She has also demonstrated a natural flair for enterprise however, having participated successfully in the Discovery Challenge.

Greta Urbanaviciute
Ambassador to the School of Business

Studies: International Business and Finance, Year 3

Following her very successful year at the Enterprise Gym – which saw Greta win the coveted ‘Iron Man’ award – she now joins the Enterprise Gym Management Team in the newly created post of Ambassador to the School of Business.

Malika Baig
Ambassador to the School of Learning and Teaching, Life Sciences

Studies: Anatomical and Physiological Sciences, Year 3

Malika joins the Enterprise Gym Management Team in the new post of Ambassador to the School of Life Sciences. Having grown up in a business environment – she helped in the family business from a young age, Malika has consistently built up her business experience throughout her education.

Anna Dimitrova
Ambassador to the School of Humanities

Studies: International Relations and European Studies, Year 4

Joining the Management Team in the new role of Ambassador to the School of Humanities, Anna brings with her a wealth of knowledge and skills. Anna has got stacks of business experience. Aside from her participation during the Discovery Challenge of 2009 / 2010, she has also been involved setting up a family business, creating a computer games club, and working as a real estate agent

Janeille Bayley-Williams
Ambassador to the School of Law

Studies: Accelerated Law, Year 2

Jamaican-born Janeille joins the Enterprise Gym Management Team to take up the new post of Ambassador to the School of Law. Her experience of the workplace is significant and varied having spent time working in law firms, universities, and banks.

Adrian Binzaru 
Communications Administrator

Studies: Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Year 2

With a strong performance in the Discovery Challenge and a creative mindset, Adrian joins the Enterprise Gym Management Team in a new position as the Communications Manager, assisting the Vice President of Communications, Andrew Ng.
